Miller Paul Marut Memorial 5K
 Event Description: Miller Paul Marut Miller was born on June 10th, 2005. He is our 3rd son. He passed away on July 14, 2005 from SIDS, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. We have established a memorial fund in his name to support the Riverside Local School District. Our fund supports the 6 elementary schools, the middle school, the junior high and the high school within the district. In 2008 we helped to complete playground installation at Melridge Elementary. In 2009 we selected Madison Ave Elementary to assist with development of a fitness center for outdoor recess fun! This year the donation of Millers fund is going to the Riverside HS Baseball Athlethic Program.. Thank you for supporting our fund, the M & M run/walk and Concord Community Days. Awards: Top overall Male and Female finisher, Top 3 finishers in each age group for running event (5 yrs). Walkers are Top 3 overall. Also TOP Concord finisher for both Male & Female runners. T shirts (adults)/ Backpack pouches for kids are available to all preregistered applicants. Pre registration is by 8-30-10. Otherwise, while supplies last. |

| Pros: wonderful race, great prizes, raffle, and shirt, and perfect weather! |
| Cons: If you haven't trained on hills, the last 1/2 mile will be tough |

| Pros: Such a nice race to run, well organized, great raffle gifts, friendly people and all for a great cause. So glad that the weather co-operated and the race was able to be held. How fun to be able to run in a race with one of the best running backs in football, Mr. Jamal White, my 8yr. old grandson now thinks that I am the "coolest" grandma ever because I ran a race with Mr. White. Hope he is able to run with us again next year. |
| Cons: Could you level that major hill in front of the fire station? It is so fun running down it in the start of the race, however, running up it to finish is a real challenge. |
